
ANAHEIM, Calif. — The Vegas Golden Knights gave up two power-play goals for the first time in a game this postseason in a 4-3 loss to the Anaheim Ducks in Game 4 of the second-round series at Honda Center on Sunday.
The best-of-seven series is tied 2-2, with Game 5 back at T-Mobile Arena on Tuesday.
Brett Howden scored his seventh goal of the playoffs, and Pavel Dorofeyev added a power-play goal, but the Knights’ penalty kill — which entered the game 26 of 27 in the playoffs — went 2 for 4 on Sunday.
Goaltender Carter Hart gave up four goals on 23 shots after allowing five in the previous three games.
Center Tomas Hertl scored his first goal since March 4 with 1:04 remaining with Hart pulled for the extra attacker.
Ducks winger Alex Killorn broke a 2-2 tie with 2:02 left in the second period with Anaheim’s second power-play goal. Rookie winger Beckett Sennecke scored the other, giving him a goal in three straight games.
