High-stakes sports bettor Dave Portnoy is backing the Vegas Golden Knights to win the Stanley Cup.
The Barstool Sports founder posted on X (@stoolpresidente) that he placed a $100,000 wager before the start of the second round at DraftKings sportsbook to win $750,000 on the Knights at +650 odds.

The Knights lead their second-round series against the Anaheim Ducks after winning 3-1 in Game 1 on Monday night and are currently the +456 third choice to win the championship.
The Colorado Avalanche are the +163 favorite at DraftKings, which doesn’t operate in Nevada, followed by the Carolina Hurricanes at +194.
Portnoy’s six-figure wager attracted the attention of the team’s X account, which posted a picture Tuesday of a Knights jersey with the No. 26 and “EL PRESIDENTE” on the nameplate.
