The Las Vegas Review-Journal’s spring Aging Wellness Expo returns Saturday at the South Point hotel-casino.

Nevada’s largest interactive gathering for active adults age 50 and older runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission and parking are free.

Attendees will have a chance to meet more than 50 exhibitors focused on healthcare and prevention screenings, beauty and wellness, retirement planning and home improvement, as well as listen to live speakers and participate in interactive events.

Optum-Nevada is bringing its 45-foot Medicine on the Move mobile medical center, which has two examination rooms, a laboratory for urinalysis and blood tests, a digital mammography unit, wheelchair lift and full climate control.

The Review-Journal Live Well speaker series will include talks on early Alzheimer’s disease detection, artificial intelligence and grief, among others.

“The Aging Wellness Expo reflects our commitment to connecting Southern Nevadans with trusted health, lifestyle and community resources,” said Michael LaBonia, senior vice president of sales for the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “It also showcases how the Review-Journal uses its platform to create meaningful, face‑to‑face connections between our audience and the organizations that serve them.”

The CenterWell Move & Groove Stage will host hourly fitness demonstrations, including Zumba, Hula Fitness, MixxedFit and chair-based workouts to get attendants moving.

A Wellness Corral will be hosted by Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UNLV, where attendees can explore activities such as ukulele lessons, Mahjong, art tables, and puzzle and board game strategies.

Entertainment will take place throughout the day at the South Point Casino Main Stage, including a fashion presentation, country western–themed bingo and a tribute performance of Dolly Parton’s greatest hits.

Several Review-Journal news staff members, reporters, anchors and editors will be on hand to answer attendees’ questions and talk about the latest news in the community. Additionally, the RJ will showcase its print and digital products, including the inaugural issue of VegasBusiness, rjmagazine and Best of Las Vegas, offering exclusive subscription offers.

Early attendees can enjoy complimentary coffee and pastries provided by Intermountain Health. Comprehensive Cancer Centers will serve healthy drinks and snacks in the afternoon.

Sponsors for the event include Intermountain Health, Select Health, Comprehensive Cancer Centers, Optum, CenterWell, UMC and South Point Hotel hotel-casino.
