The Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a crash that left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries Tuesday night in the northwest Las Vegas Valley.
Lt. James O’Leary said the crash occurred at about 9:34 p.m. near Lake Mead Boulevard and Torrey Pines Drive.
The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
O’Leary noted that the driver initially fled the scene but was later located and taken into custody, adding that impairment is not suspected.
