While driving south on McLeod Drive recently, l noticed a young fellow on an e-bike riding in the opposite direction as I was — not in the bike lane and very close to me. The next thing I knew, I heard a loud crash. Sure enough, the bike hit my vehicle hard.
The biker had no helmet, has no insurance and has no license. He has a court date, and all l have will be a huge car repair bill.
There must be enforced e-bike laws if they are going to share our roads. Without enforced laws, l foresee more accidents, possibly deadly. Get on it, Clark County commissioners.
