Fire crews were responding Wednesday afternoon to a 2-alarm fire at a vacant church fire in Las Vegas.
The blaze broke out at the former Foundation of Love Ministry church at 2543 S. Bruce Street, near East Sahara Avenue and South Eastern Avenue.
Dispatchers began receiving reports of the fire at about 2:25 p.m. Wednesday, according to an email from Scott Carnahan, assistant fire chief of the Clark County Fire Department.
“The first arriving unit reported a vacant church with significant fire involvement,” Carnahan said. “Crews initiated an offensive interior fire attack. At approximately 3:09 p.m., partial structural collapse was observed, and all personnel were withdrawn from the building.”
Along with Clark County fire crews, Las Vegas Fire Department crews were also responding, Carnahan said.
There were no reported injuries, Carnahan said.
