Two new Breeze Airways flights announced in November began operations from Harry Reid International Airport Friday.
The Utah-based leisure air carrier launched daily flights to Orange County’s John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana, California, and twice weekly service to Magic Valley Regional Airport in Twin Falls, Idaho. While the Twin Falls flights currently run Mondays and Fridays, they’ll increase to daily service April 5.
Promotional one-way fares start at $39 to and from Orange County and $44 to and from Twin Falls.
Breeze routes are operated on twin-engine Airbus A220-300 aircraft and offer free family seating, onboard WiFi, preferred seat options, and no change or cancellation fees.
Breeze has grown to become the 10th busiest domestic commercial air carrier at Reid and flew 22,847 passengers to and from Las Vegas in January.
Breeze operates more than 300 year-round and seasonal routes to 86 cities in the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. Founded by aviation entrepreneur David Neeleman, the founder of JetBlue, Breeze took flight in May 2021 bringing premium, affordable and nonstop air service to secondary markets.
