Some of the notable elementary schools in Vegas include Blue Ribbon institutions such as Charles & Phyllis Frias Elementary School, Judy & John L. Goolsby Elementary School, and Linda Rankin Givens Elementary School. Roger D. Gehring Academy of Science and Technology is a magnet elementary school focused on STEM subjects. There are 10 magnet elementary schools in CCSD, plus an additional 15 magnet middle schools and one magnet elementary/middle school.

Among the notable public high schools in Las Vegas is the Advanced Technologies Academy, a career and technical academy that introduces students to academic concepts and technical skills to prepare them for their careers.

Additionally, West Career & Technical Academy offers college-preparatory coursework and project-based learning to create students ready to contribute after graduation.

The Las Vegas Academy of the Arts, a magnet high school that’s part of the Clark County School District, offers conservatory programs in theater, visual and media arts, dance, and music. All told, there are 18 magnet high schools in CCSD.
