Police are seeking a man in connection with a strong-armed robbery Monday in the south Las Vegas Valley.
The crime occurred around 7:45 p.m. at a business near the 9000 block of South Maryland Parkway, near East Pebble Road, according to a Metropolitan Police Department release.
He grabbed money from the cash register and battered the employee in order to retain the cash. He then fled from the store.
He is in his 20s to 30s in age, approximately 5-foot-8 tall with a heavy build, pink or red hair, wearing a cream-colored hooded sweatshirt with a rainbow design on the front, denim shorts, white sneakers and black socks, carrying a black backpack.
