If you thought pumpkin spice season arrived too early, there is one person on the Las Vegas Strip already plotting Christmas — with a good reason.
Maria D. won a $375,978 Mega Jackpot on Face-Up Pai Gow Poker with a seven-card heart straight flush Monday at Harrah’s, according to a Caesars Entertainment spokesperson.
She drew the eight of ace of hearts, with her joker being used as the nine of hearts. In pai gow poker, the joker can be used as an ace or to complete a straight and/or flush.
The joker really came in handy with the dealer holding the nine of hearts.
Maria said she plans to use her jackpot winnings to start her Christmas shopping.
