Presumed Las Vegas Raiders starting quarterback Kirk Cousins is not practicing with the team on Wednesday.
Cousins was not present for the majority of the media viewing period but did walk onto the field to watch his teammates as the media departed.
He was wearing a jersey but was not in pads.
Coach Klint Kubiak is scheduled to speak to reporters after practice and could provide an update.
He has not yet formally named Cousins the starter over No. 1 pick Fernando Mendoza for the opening game against the Miami Dolphins, but all indications are that will be the case.
Also, running back Mike Washington Jr. was in a new jersey as he has switched to No. 4. Kicker Matt Gay, who had switched to No. 4 earlier this week, was back to No. 14.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
