I believe every Clark County School District trustee, the superintendent and the district’s lawyers should have their heads examined. The Review-Journal reported on Friday that they gave the parents of a student $1 million because he had his hand repeatedly hit with a shoe by a substitute teacher. If my parents had received $1 million every time I had my knuckles smacked with a ruler or had my bottom hit with a paddle when I was in grade school, they would have been rich before I made high school.
