On Location has been very busy in Las Vegas over the past several years.
The company provides VIP-style hospitality packages for major sporting events in the city being dubbed the sports and entertainment capital of the world.
With the Super Bowl, WrestleMania, the NFL Draft, multiple UFC events, Zuffa Boxing, the NCAA men’s Division I Final Four, and other major events having occurred or on the horizon over the next few years, On Location will be busy in Sin City. On Location works with over 150 rights holders including the NFL, WWE, UFC, MLB, FIFA, the International Olympic Committee and the PGA, among others.
“We’ve been growing every single year, not just UFC, but the entire On Location portfolio,” Rachel Nabatian Tasch, head of combat sports, told the Review-Journal. “We’re looking to innovate what we do, we provide the premium seat with the spectacular view, but what we’re doing is we’re adding value around that, not just the hospitality, but with those VIP behind-the-scenes experiences.
“So we’ve been looking to really curate with our customers what it is that they’re looking to do to make their wildest dreams come true. And sometimes it’s very scalable. Sometimes it’s one-on-one through our Dream and Do It program. And that’s how we’ve been really able to grow the business, by the behind-the-scenes access that we have here.”
On Location saw their highest-grossing UFC event in their history this month with hospitality packages for UFC 329, headlined by Max Holloway’s TKO win over Conor McGregor.
Some of the packages On Location offered for UFC 329 included: premium seating and VIP entrance at T-Mobile Arena; reserved seating at the ceremonial weigh-ins; live Weigh-In Show experience with UFC talent and analysts; post weigh-in reception with UFC athlete appearances; in-venue VIP hospitality with UFC athlete appearances; seating at the promoter’s table for a fight and a post-fight, in-octagon experience. On Location did not reveal pricing, but the higher-tier packages can costs fans thousands of dollars.
Fans with the VIP hospitality packages had access to multiple clubs in T-Mobile Arena, including the Ghost Lounge, which featured all-inclusive food, beer, wine and spirits and saw notable UFC fighter appearances including heavyweight Alex Pereira and BMF champ Charles Oliveira.
Traveling fans
Sean Rhatigan and his son, Finn, traveled to Las Vegas from New York City for UFC 329 and bought the VIP package, with post-fight ring access. The two have taken in multiple events with On Location since 2024, mainly UFC and WWE productions.
Outside of the unparalleled access the On Location packages provide, taking the planning element of the trips is also a major plus for the Rhatigans.
“I book a hotel ticket and a plane and then they send me an itinerary a few days before and I know exactly what I’m doing,” Sean Rhatigan said.”A UFC event where it’s going to be seven or eight hours, to be sitting in a seat down there the whole time, you get a little tedious, but here (club space) you get to bounce around, you get to meet people, you’re getting the good food, you get to meet talent, which is always a lot of fun. So it just ends the experience up in a way that doesn’t make it seem like it’s seven or eight hours, it makes it seem like it’s three.”
One-of-a-kind package
One of the higher-tier packages was the Dana White All-Access offering, providing the buyer an experience with UFC’s president and CEO.
“We had someone buy the Dana White All-Access package and for that one, we work with them (customer) to understand what they wanted to do,” Nabatian Tasch said. “They started the day at UFC headquarters, and Forrest Griffin met them and did a personal tour of the UFC Performance Institute. Cutting-edge, unparalleled technology. So they got to see that. Then they did a shopping spree at the store at the (UFC) headquarters. Then they had lunch with Dana for a very long time, one-on-one, super fun. Then here (T-Mobile Arena) at the ceremonial weigh-in, they walked out with Dana. They stood on stage with him during the ceremonial weigh-in. After we had our party at Brew Dog.”
Zuffa boxing
For Zuffa Boxing’s next big fight, the Sept. 12 Shakur Stevenson versus Conor Benn at T-Mobile Arena, On Location will be offering multiple packages, which start at $950, including the basic VIP with a dedicated entrance, up to an in-ring experience and a in-venue hospitality offering with a scheduled meet-and-greet with three-division champ Terence “Bud” Crawford.
For On Location, which is under TKO Group Holdings, which also includes UFC and WWE, Las Vegas is an exciting city to have its partners host events in, where hospitality options are expected.
“This city is incredible,” Nabatian Tasch said. “The energy is palpable. It’s the fight capital of the world. We love being here, and we also love that we have our headquarters here. We feel so ingrained. It really does feel like home for us.”
