Nick Schulman joined an exclusive club at the World Series of Poker.
The Las Vegas resident won the $1,500 buy-in H.O.R.S.E. event on Friday night for his eighth career WSOP bracelet, which are awarded for tournament victories.
Schulman is the 10th player in WSOP history with eight or more bracelets. He outlasted a field of 780 entrants and defeated Clayton Mozdzen of Canada during heads-up play to claim the $183,366 first prize.

It is the fourth straight year that Schulman, who was inducted into the Poker Hall of Fame in 2025, has won a WSOP bracelet.
“They’re always (all so) special. But I guess it’s cool to show that, you know, they made a good decision,” Schulman told PokerNews. “I don’t want to be the delusional sort of player hanging on, but I can feel it, that I’m finally starting to kind of come into my own a little bit.”
Schulman narrowly missed out on a bracelet last month in the $1,500 buy-in Badugi event when he finished second. He is expected to climb the Player of the Year standings when they are next updated.
With his latest victory, Schulman pushed his career live tournament earnings past $26.3 million, according to the Hendon Mob Poker Database.
