One person is dead and another is in custody after a shooting Friday morning in downtown Las Vegas.
The shooting was reported at 6 a.m. on the 400 block of North 7th Street, near East Mesquite Avenue, according to a Metropolitan Police Department release.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
