I’ve noticed that the Review-Journal editorial board keeps referring to “California’s jungle primary” as if it’s some exotic process. Guess what? Nevadans have used the same process to elect our mayors, city council members, school board members, regents, sheriffs and judges for many years. All those races are top-two open primaries right now, just like California, and we’ve had no problems. So whatever’s going sideways in California, the culprit is not open primaries.
