An under construction Henderson residence from homebuilder Blue Heron recently sold for $10.5 million.
The home, dubbed Elaria, at 475 Rock Peak Drive, is “inspired by intelligence in motion where nature-formed design and human-centered living converge,” according to the listing. The home sold on April 30.
“Everything about this home was breathtaking,” said Natalia Harris, the listing agent for the residence alongside her husband, Ben Harris.
Elaria was part of a trio of architecturally significant homes from Blue Heron at The Peak at MacDonald Highlands that hit the market on Jan. 27 — the other two, Eterna and Larae are still on the market.
Construction on all three of the homes is ongoing; Elaria will be completed around November, with the rest anticipated in April of next year. The buyer received a $2 million pre-construction incentive, which is still available for Eterna and Larae until July.
Elaria is the smallest of the trio, but still spans 7,500 square feet in a single story, with five bedrooms, six bathrooms and a five-car garage. The house sits on almost a half-acre.
The home is perched at the tallest elevation in the community, offering “top of the world,” unobstructed views of the Strip, DragonRidge Golf Course and mountains, said Natalia Harris.
“This is the baby (of the three homes), but the flow of the home was amazing,” she said. “It felt a lot bigger than that.”
Included in the home are multiple luxury amenities such as an entertainer’s lounge and private wine room. Although, the feature of the home is the “LED-lined oculus.”
The oculus is a large, circular detail on the ceiling, lined with LED lights, that extends over the kitchen and living room area inside the home, and outside over the pool. It is intended to create seemless indoor-outdoor living.
“It (the oculus) created this great Feng Shui and brought good energy into the heart of the home, whether you’re entertaining both indoor and out,” said Natalia Harris.
As for the remaining two, Eterna, at 571 Grand Rim Drive, is listed for $20 million. The home has seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms and a total of 11,150 square feet. For those looking for an “in-between” option, Larae, at 483 Rock Peak Drive and listed for $15.9 million offers a happy medium. Larae has six beds, eight baths and 9,350 square feet.
When speaking about the properties to the Review-Journal in February, Natalia Harris said she doesn’t anticipate the luxury market to drop off anytime soon either, with high-net-worth individuals looking to migrate to Las Vegas, calling it an “obvious choice” for California residents.
“First of all, the California billionaire tax is definitely not going to slow it down in any way,” she said. “We’re already seeing so many tech executives and CEOs and just high-net-worth individuals looking to Vegas.”
