Las Vegas Valley motorists should brace this week for overnight ramp closures tied to the $30 million 215 Beltway/Summerlin Parkway interchange project.
The 215 southbound off-ramp to Summerlin Parkway and the Summerlin Parkway on-ramp to 215 southbound will be closed between 9 p.m. Thursday and 5 a.m. Friday, Clark County announced Tuesday.
The closure is required for crews to pour the deck of a pedestrian bridge that is being built over the pair of Summerlin Parkway ramps.
The 215/Summerlin Parkway interchange project includes the revamping of interchange ramps, construction of new bridges and a flyover ramp from 215 southbound to Summerlin Parkway eastbound, widening of the existing Summerlin Parkway bridge and adding three new trail bridges, including the one spanning the 215.
Once built, the pedestrian bridge will link the existing Beltway West Trail, which runs along the 215, to the under-construction Summerlin Parkway Trail. The shared-use trail is open to pedestrians, runners and bicyclists.
The 215/Summerlin Parkway interchange project began in February 2025 and is scheduled for completion in the spring of 2028.
