Centennial rising senior wide receiver Jayden Thomas announced his college commitment to Minnesota on Sunday on his Instagram page.
Thomas is a three-star recruit and ranked as the No. 10 class of 2027 recruit by 247Sports. The 6-foot, 175 pound receiver had 14 Division I offers, according to 247Sports.
He chose the Golden Gophers over UNLV, San Diego State and California, which were all in a final four list posted on his social media accounts. Thomas went on a visit to Minnesota this weekend.
Thomas was Centennial’s top receiver last year. He had 610 receiving yards on 32 catches with 11 touchdown receptions as a junior in 2025.
Thomas also starred on Centennial’s boys track and field team. On May 16, Thomas helped Centennial win the 4×100-meter relay at the Class 5A state meet, which helped the Bulldogs win their first team state title since 2017.
