The ratings for Vegas Golden Knights-Colorado Avalanche series climbed even higher for Sunday’s Game 3, according to ESPN.
The Knights’ come-from-behind 5-3 win at T-Mobile Arena was the most-viewed Western Conference Final Game 3 since Colorado-Detroit in 2002, the network said Thursday.
The 2.5 million average viewers is a 45 percent increase over last year’s Western Conference Final Game 3 on ABC between the Edmonton Oilers and Dallas Stars.
The series between the Knights and Avalanche drew large audiences on ESPN. Game 1 was the most-viewed Western Conference Final Game 1 since 2018 when the Knights faced the Winnipeg Jets, and the following game was the most-viewed Game 2 since 2002.
Through three games, the Western Conference Final averaged 2.3 million viewers, a 48 percent year-over-year increase.
