2026 Nevada Preps All-Southern Nevada flag football team revealed

First team

Lyla Baxter, Green Valley — The 4A Sky League player of the year had 1,976 receiving yards and 31 touchdowns, and added 66 flag pulls and 19 interceptions on defense.

Zehani English, Bishop Gorman — The freshman had 717 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns, threw for 1,488 yards and 13 touchdowns, and grabbed six interceptions on defense.

Karah Foss, Arbor View — The junior threw for 4,215 yards and 58 touchdowns, rushed for 17 touchdowns and recorded 75 flag pulls and 12 interceptions.

Akemi Higa, Desert Oasis — The senior led the state with 5,764 passing yards and had a 66.9 percent completion percentage, and rushed for 1,043 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Akiko Higa, Desert Oasis — The senior had 94 catches for 1,572 yards and 37 touchdowns.

Yauie Kahawaii-Pula, Sierra Vista — The 4A Mountain League player of the year scored 24 total touchdowns and had 67 flag pulls and 10 interceptions for the 4A state champions.

Siaosina Le’au, Liberty — The sophomore caught 96 passes for 1,292 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Dayana Matias, Arbor View — The sophomore had 105 flag pulls, 70 for loss, and led the state with 60 sacks.

Danielle Morales, Arbor View — The junior led the state with 1,822 rushing yards and 31 touchdowns, had 1,343 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns and had 73 flag pulls.

Jaylani Palmer, Shadow Ridge — The senior 5A player of the year had 1,886 receiving yards and 30 touchdowns, threw for 1,197 yards and 18 touchdowns and led the state with 23 interceptions on defense.

Mariah Stevens-Walden, Shadow Ridge — The senior caught 104 passes for 1,094 yards and 14 touchdowns, and had 74 flag pulls and six interceptions on defense.

Charli Taylor, Liberty — The freshman completed 69.9 percent of her passes and threw for 4,306 yards and 61 touchdowns.

Trishelle Tucay, Liberty — The sophomore caught 150 passes, led the state with 2,036 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns, and added 22 sacks on defense.

Preseah Williams, Bishop Gorman — The senior had 114 catches for 1,544 yards and 22 touchdowns for the 5A state runner-up.

Nariyah Williams, Desert Oasis — The junior was a top defender for the Diamondbacks with 84 flag pulls and nine interceptions.

Amaya Wusstig, Sierra Vista — The junior completed 67.3 percent of her passes for 3,038 yards with 43 touchdowns, and added 869 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns for the 4A state champions.

Coach of the year

Daniel Bagwell, Sierra Vista — Guided the Mountain Lions to a 19-3 record and the Class 4A state title, the school’s first flag football state title.

Second team

Cassiah Banks, Clark — The freshman had 112 catches for 1,814 yards with 35 touchdowns.

Malia Browner, Bishop Gorman — The freshman caught 47 passes for 701 yards with nine touchdowns.

Aniyah Burress, Legacy — The junior was second in the state with 1,800 rushing yards and 21 touchdowns, and threw for 2,203 yards and 30 touchdowns.

Chloe Covington, Shadow Ridge — The senior threw for 2,815 yards and 48 touchdowns for the 5A state champion.

Jiselle Dudley, Coronado — The senior had 1,642 receiving yards and 18 touchdowns, and grabbed nine interceptions on defense.

Lauryn Galvin, Green Valley — The senior caught 137 passes for 2,020 yards and 20 touchdowns, and recorded 89 flag pulls, 18 sacks and seven interceptions on defense.

Kiara Hughes, SECTA — The senior threw for 4,066 yards and 48 touchdowns, rushed for 1,470 yards and 12 touchdowns and had 99 flag pulls and seven interceptions on defense.

Jaliya Lamb, SLAM! Nevada — The junior threw for 4,567 yards and 69 touchdowns, rushed for 1,437 yards and eight scores and added nine sacks on defense.

Alexis Lunkwitz, Palo Verde — The junior had 1,126 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns.

Rylei Mazzola, Sierra Vista — The sophomore had 77 catches for 1,218 yards and 19 touchdowns for the 4A state champion.

D’Arrah Mitchell, Centennial — The 4A Desert League player of the year had 102 catches for 1,527 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Janae Peebles, Green Valley — The junior was second in the state with 4,737 passing yards and 52 touchdowns.

Avery Reed, Bishop Gorman — The senior threw for 3,264 yards and 41 touchdowns for the 5A state runner-up.

Miranda Reiter, Arbor View — The senior had 956 receiving yards and nine touchdowns, and grabbed 11 interceptions on defense.

Davie Slack, Virgin Valley — The 4A Lake League player of the year threw for 3,084 yards and 49 touchdowns, rushed for 10 and grabbed 17 interceptions on defense.

Audrey Vann, Centennial — The senior had 131 flag pulls, 48 for loss, and 46 sacks.
