MJ Collins scored 20 points and Utah State beat San Diego State 73-62 to win the Mountain West conference tournament title and secure a fourth consecutive trip to the NCAA tournament on Saturday at Thomas & Mack Center.
Reese Waters-Dixon had 20 points for the No. 2-seeded Aztecs.
The win marked Utah State’s third and final Mountain West championship win, as the Aggies and Aztecs are both set to leave the conference for the new-look Pac-12. The Aggies also won the regular-season conference title.
