There has been much in the Review-Journal recently about “the autopsy” regarding how poorly the Democrats did in the 2024 election. To me it is pretty simple: The far left radical wing of the party has taken control of the narrative and the moderates are afraid to speak up.
What happens then is that the silent majority votes against the finger-waving, loud-mouthed radicals who keep pushing ridiculous policies. Because the Democratic moderates never push back verbally against having open borders, defunding police, eradicating ICE, raising taxes, giving needles to the homeless, eliminating fossil fuels and stopping the mining of needed materials to save an unknown desert weed, this silliness goes on.
Most balanced people who are on the opposite sides of issues can sit down and discuss their position calmly and with facts. The far-left radicals use anger and vitriol to bully people into supporting their position. That is not a winning strategy. Time for moderates to push back and bring their party back to the middle.
